In an amazing effort to help the American public understand all the misinformation on Lyme disease, one doctor has dared to untangle the messy web of half-truths from the CDC. The following paper explains how and why newer methods to accurately detect Borrelia species are superior, reliable methods — despite the CDC’s effort to say otherwise.

It bears repeating that one of the CDC officials in the midst of this turmoil has several patents in the area(s) of Lyme disease. Some people would call this a blatant conflict of interest.
