Has anyone got any information and/or references on naturally accelerating a drinking water biofilms growth?

Possibly without massively altering the water chemistry beyond current governing standards. As require the growth of relatively mature and representative drinking water biofilms to determine their upon a pipeline’s system hydraulics, but I am constricted by the time I have available.

Any ideas would be greatly welcome
