I just returned from Vancouver after attending the Pacific Dental Conference. My primary goal was to meet dental professionals (hygienists, dentists and periodontists) and understand their approach to eliminating chronic bacterial infections – biofilms – from their patients’ mouths. I learned so much, I’ll need a few days to crunch down all the information, tease out the interesting parts and repost.

But here’s a tidbit for now. I talked to a number of dental companies, like Water Pik, Inc. I like their product because if used properly, removes dental biofilms, is inexpensive and durable.

I am glad I talked to these folks at the booth, as they gave me some tips on how to use the Water Pik “without taking a shower!”

I went to the Waterpik site, but there are no instructional or “how to” videos. What’s the secret to using the Pik w/o the “shower?” More info on how it removes infections would be nice.

  • Steven, I checked their website and found a bunch of videos; I’ll check them out soon to see how-consumer focused they are…thx for the comment.
